We are thrilled to welcome Lauren Gibeault to the PALS Staff team!
Lauren recently joined PALS Staff as the Recruitment Coordinator. She will be working on bringing more participants into the PALS community as well as cultivating relationships with other organizations and schools to be supporters of PALS. Lauren will also work on retention and engagement strategies to connect as many people as possible to the mission of PALS.
Read a little bit about Lauren!
“I was born and raised in Maryland and love living near the water in Annapolis, MD. Picking crabs is a way of life around here and something I grew up doing. I have 2 daughters, Hope and Elliott, and I have been married to my husband Mike for 10 years. After a prenatal diagnosis of DS with youngest daughter Hope, (Which ended up being inaccurate) I was introduced to this lovely community of people and eventually decided I wanted to switch careers to join the PALS team! In my free time, I love to do anything and everything as long as it is outside! Hiking, traveling, and exploring new places with my family. My entire career so far has been spent working with teenagers in some form of fashion- I find teenagers to be the most fun and hilarious group of people around.”
We are excited for Lauren to join PALS as we prepare for this summer season. You can send Lauren a welcome message at lauren@palsprograms.org.
