"Where Are They Now?" with Marissa Erickson

I love being part of PALS because I have created awesome friendships and have so much fun.
— Marissa

Marissa started PALS in 2012 at Camp PALS West. She lives in California where she does acting workshops and works in films. She has a few call backs for films she has previously worked on for this summer! Marissa loves to dance with friends, play sports, and collect fidget spinners! She has shared her collection of fidget spinners at PALS before. She recently took up fishing as a new hobby and caught three fish. She is involved in working to bring people with disabilities into the film industry in Los Angeles.

Her earliest memory of PALS is from Camp PALS West. She loved her first time at camp. She had the opportunity to meet so many great people. Her first pairing was with Anna, and since she has been paired with Emily. Marissa is excited for this summer to see new places in the Bay Area and hopefully be paired with Emily again.

Marissa’s life has changed a lot since starting PALS. She is more focused and loves working on more films. She has learned a lot. She also has a second family in PALS. She can’t wait to see the PALS family this summer!
