Just ahead of our 2019 volunteer application launching December 1st, we’re excited to announce a brand new volunteer role! Starting in the 2019 Summer Season, all camps will now be welcoming Counselors in Training (CIT) to their ranks.

The CIT position is intended for counselor applicants who are under the age of 18 at the start of their program, and/or who would be a great fit for cross-team support. We are crafting this experience to provide qualifying applicants insight into the inner-workings of PALS, while having tons of fun and forming powerful bonds throughout the week! The CIT will get to work closely with their team’s head counselor to monitor team dynamics, plus – as paired counselors will occasionally be on-call with various behind-the-scenes support duties – our CIT volunteers will have the opportunity to spend lots of one-on-one time building friendships with all of the campers on their team.

We’re thrilled to see the new role take shape, and even more thrilled to be opening the volunteer application in just two short days. Don’t forget to apply early, and we’ll see you at camp in 2019!
