PALS is all about lifelong friendships, and Alex and Joe are amazing examples of it! Meet Alex Hudson, and his roommate Joe Collins. When PALS was one Camp in the Philadelphia area, Alex would travel from Maryland and Joe would travel from Massachusetts to participate in the week-long adventure. The pair have attended many camps, including Philadelphia, Georgetown and Maryland.

What is your favorite thing to do at PALS with your roommate?

We like to jam out. I’m a little bit of a country fan and Joe is pure rock ‘n’ roll.

What do you do to keep in touch with each other in between Camps?

We keep in touch through Facebook and texting.

What is your favorite thing to do together outside of Camp?

We do Special Olympics together.

What advice can you give to new roommates to create amazing friendships like yours?

Be yourself, have fun, and be open to new friendships.

The pair are looking forward to their next adventure as roommates, and can’t wait to see where PALS takes them next.
